IMO this placement sounds much like trying to do a payback for some past "help"....not sure what that could be but the amount surelyy means that it is just to get some monkey off the AAR management's back....

If you guys remember the results of the last concluded federal election....Julia Gillard had to "give" MArk Arbib a front bench for all the work he did in knifing Mr Rudd a few months ago....as some say it, the piper has to be paid....Julia did it last month and now probably AAR management did it last week....

Other than that, I cannot see much logic in that piddly amount....also, r'ber the sp was almost 3.5c and the buyer could have easily picked up a few more if he had patiently played the "bot games" we famously describe in so many HC posts and could have got it probably cheaper...but AAR would not have had any money into its coffer if that would have happened...so instead of letting them play any games and scare the long termers into selling, they got it over the counter from AAR....

Just my ramblings on an event which defied much logic to me....
