They are (or were) definitely concerned with shareholder worth. Don't forget the management own large swathes of AFG themselves (when not been sold in a margin call). It may be that something has gone very wrong at AFG but if it has then the management have lost heaps too as well as other shareholders.
These guys have just as much interest in the share price as us and maybe even more so.
Frustrating as it is, relax and wait until Monday.
