This mornign's report on Golden State's Paradox Basin well is hardly encouraging. They have now drilled 400 feet into the Leadville Formation with only minor gas shows and elevated background gas readings which mean little. With some 300 feet of the primarty target to drill you would have to think the chances of finding 200 Bcf of gas are fast disappearing.
