I dont know in inflation house prices tend to go up as the replacement cost of materials to build a house increases.

Therefore if you have a mortgage inflation makes the current mortgage liability a lower percentage of the total houses value (as the mortgage cost is stable while the house value appreciates so your leveraging goes down I would have thought that was a good thing,
