It is also worth noting that copper has decoupled form the normal finacial cycle and their is still uncertainty arround if this will be the true breakout moment as the market has been primmed for sometime with the current thermatic of coming demand and supply shortages but until recently was range bound in the $3.5 to $3.9 US per pound.

Since the Cu price rise there is still uncertainties around Fed rate cuts and inflation numbers with most analysts starting to question if there will be any rate cuts this year.

Add in more uncertainty around Middle East and things are not moving as normal.
