The $5.50 to $6.50 is a fair enough range to get companies interested in building a mine for copper production even taking just ONE thing into account, one thing of MANY... and that's CAPEX
No BoD is going to sign off on a 15 year commitment on a marginal price, inflation isn't under control either.
You can keep asking questions until the cows come home, during those 15 years there's many questions raised as it's a complicated process to get a mine up and running. There's no one template that fits all and that's not taking into account global conditions. So yes... we need $5.50 to $6.50 to get things moving.
you could also look at the narrative of some of the major copper producers about CAPEX and costs, if that's not too difficult for you.
