Certainly would not. If there are any loyal buy & hold investors out there (haka may be one of the last of them), having had their investment eroded to keep the board in the lifestyle to which they have become accostomed, the board now expect to be rewarded for having done so. I don't think there is too much loyalty being returned, and I don't see the Board moving in a different direction any time soon.

As far as this being the year for VPE, I would not hold my breath. Every year has been promised as the year; with less shareholder value and more Board reward being the result.

I also note earlier someone intimating DHJ did not sign the announcement, therefore nothing to do with him. Does that mean if the office boy signed it, the office boy is responsible. Don't think so, this has DHJ greed and arrogance toward shareholders all over it.
