All time High for Aussie gold price today

As I write the Aussie GP just hit an all time high of $AU2360

Now I posted earlier that there was serious manipulation going on with EVN SP.

The Aussie GP in August reached $AU2260 and EVN at the time was at 5.40s. Currently the Aussie GP is at 2360 and the EVN SP is at 3.71.

Why?

I have my theories. Someone sold a huge number of March calls, with a huge buyer for these calls. One of them is going to lose big. The seller of calls into this market is trying to keep the EVN price down under the strike price (even though the Aussie GP has advance heaps) and is dumping shares onto the market to do so. The buyer is patient so far. Possibly hoping that various institutions and hedge funds work out that this company produced 720k ounces of gold a year could sell at $Au2360 at a cost of production around $Au1050 that this is a bargain and buy any shares on offer. This may or may not happen.

I am unsure who has the deepest pockets and who will win this contest. So far the seller is winning against huge odds so far.

For us watchers on this contest is trying because EVN should be easily above 4.50 and nearing 5.00.

Solution just wait until the March contracts expire and then the SP will get back to normal.

Currently this market is totally artificial
