I think you'll find that EVN are debt free now, which is an enviable position to be in. But its a fair point.
One thing I hadn't realise is that the creditor (Bank) can pressure a mining company to taking out hedges. If you owe the bank and they tell you to take out a hedge on your gold production, you are obliged to do so. Once their hedges are extinguished I imagine the share price will ascend rather nicely.
I'd like to see GOR hedge free and debt free, I'm sure the time will come, and we'll all be the wiser and richer for it.
