If that isn't a great omen then I haven't seen one. We're in record territory now. What would really be spooky is if it closed at 99. Might only be a matter of days - and I dare say, when it breaks 99, it would put the cat (GOR) amongst the pigeons (instos). To use another metaphor, they'll be throwing the kitchen sink at this - ceteris paribus of course. Gold must hold if not rise. Almost a given, given the amount of central bank buying, negative interest rates, geopolitical tensions, asset bubbles, insane socialist policies and general fear and loathing. Hang tight.
