safety and Telstra should never be in the same sentence, expect more of the same today judging by the early splits. These insto ***** are ruthless, and why wouldn't they be, they're playing with super and pension money, almost a bottomless pit. A bit like going to the casino and doubling up on red or black every time you lose, eventually you'll come good...if you can get set. The stock market is one place "they" can and WILL get set, because this is all an in-house rort, one insto/hedge fund selling to another. I think Optrader summed it up pretty well.
