I had made comparisons a long time ago, with Beach and Central Petroleum.
You didn't need to be a brain surgeon to see where Central Petroleum was heading because of lack of production of anything much at all, and for the "new" MD to not take this into consideration for shareholder value, and only be seen to be looking after themselves, is reprehensible.

It should have been, ... strike while the iron was hot, drill for oil where it is supposed to be there in abundance at Surprise, and then do the JV's.

Don't believe PP reasons given for not drilling Surprise, so not transparent.
