overnight trump said anyone who buys Venezuelan oil will get a 25% tariff (that’s mainly China and India). They are 1% of global supply. It is likely they go after Iran next - 4% of oil supply.
now maybe it makes sense why opec are increasing production ….:
how do you play this? Well let’s look at karoon - 70m shares short (from 80m) - thats over 10% of float. We then have a 10% of float buyback from the company.
thats 20% of the shares outstanding to buy or 2 months volume. The shorts are underwater and oil is primed.
i dont care if you are a day trader, investor or long term punter. I smell an opportunity here…. And who doesn’t like a short to burn ?
