THE ASX has confirmed that trading will resume at normal times today, but the problem behind the disruption to trade yesterday remains unresolved.
The ASX said this morning that there would be some limitation on trading today pending a permanent solution to the problem, which prevented the generation of confirmation messages on some trades.
``Until further notice, all Tailor Made Combinations (TMC) have been disabled,'' a statement from the ASX said this morning, referring to a technical aspect of trading on the exchange.
``ASX is working on a permanent resolution to this issue and will provide further updates.''
The problem emerged shortly before 1200 AWST yesterday. It prevented trades in all but futures contracts.
The ASX said today that the glitch resulted in the trading system failing to disseminate some trade confirmation messages.
