Interesting. What is the forecast for Louisiana this weekend? If there is heavy rain this could cause a delay right?
On the brightside it may give the DOW a chance to turn green in the meantime.

Note: I agree that stocks positioned like VIL can do well on days where market sentiment is poor but I also believe that a few big red days in the markets can also mean the difference between something like VIL spiking to 8c versus 12c on good news (alternatively dropping 2c versus 1c on bad news). Not too many (including myself) would have stopped to work out exactly what VIL will be worth commercially. Most of us are just riding on sentiment and potential....and in 6 months time the SP is likely to be multiples of what it is now BUT we will have moved on.
No disrespect to long term believers but HotCopper threads tend to have their share of fashionable stocks. Most of them very speculative.
