Interesting comment Gekkko about mining service contractors and potential conflicts of interest : sadly this is the second time I have invested heavily in a mining company which initially had good prospects and management with a prior successful track-record BUT made a funding deal with their mining contractor when the going got difficult. The outcome in my first case was that the mining contractor did very nicely from assets under administration but retail shareholders (like me) ended up with their capital diluted by a factor of 0.00476.
What do I conclude....once bitten....twice bitten.....so NEVER AGAIN take this kind of risk with my SMSF investments !
