Me thinking out loud.
Beyond present partying and the U.S election, Donald Trump becoming the new president, short term partying and speculation outside of Gold will have some temporary traction. Gold's bull market is still in its infancy.
All economic terms ending in "FLATION" are by definition bullish for Gold.
When we started this journey 3 to 4 years ago western economies and central banks were damned if you do and damned if you don't:
Raise Interest Rates , sell more bonds , print money etc.
It seems lowering interest rates to fight staggering economies is the new cry.
Cutting to the chase:
FLATION: GOLD OUTCOME: WHY:
Hyperinflation Excellent Interest rate cuts early then increasing / fiat down / purchasing power lost
Stagflation Excellent Interest rate cuts stimulus / money printing / fiat down / unemployment up
Deflation Excellent Interest rate cuts stimulus / money printing to increase demand / fiat down
With interest rates now being slashed to salvage sinking economic growth + stimulus coming + extended & growing debts + growing unemployment + tax revenue reduction (Tax Cuts) + Tariffs + so on and so on. I do not know how the system can not fail and be the reason for a GOLD bull market. No matter what Economic policy I apply to the present Global situation a GOLD bull market is eventual.
The best outcome is less death as a result of war and a true return to tangible and profitable assets.
My final thoughts if a company at this point in time as many do not:
Has little or better no debt
Has a fair amount of cash on hand
Is presently generating profit in a crap global economy
Has future Tax Credits
And is part of a potential growing market group
I will take the short term pain for the long term gain.
