I think SP, as others have suggested, is responding to nickel prices....down; no likely earnings from JRV in short term and general market calamity, with the possiblity of the US imploding.
IMO I think the more likely scenario is that Chinese will move earlier than later. I would not expect end of Oct to come without them either having put up the cash or pulling out.
Nobody can make a 100% accurate prediction, but I am in "buy" mode.
