I am browsing dozens and dozens of websites about cars and electric cars in particular almost every day. I have not seen one single spy photo of a prototype of the 25,000 USD Tesla model, which will supposedly be produced in China. Range testing can take easily one year, That's about the time frame when you start seeing spy photos of upcoming models. Imho the budget Tesla model will not be released before 2023 earliest. During the last earnings call the management was specifically asked wether that model would be launched in 2023. The management didn't say yes or no, just that they want to scale production without adding too much complexety with new models. Juding by the statements made, I think there is only a slim chance for the 25K USD Tesla in 2023.
