i hold AKE and lithium is ultimately good for the health of the planet, but evaporating large quantities of water from areas which don't have much is not ideal, and is a recognised ESG issue for all of the South American brine operators.

it's also worth pointing out that Vulcan, which I also hold, very clearly and deliberately discusses the risks associated with their process and technology in their corporate presentations. Your statement that the "questions are not mentioned by the companies" is not true.

The production process uses a certain amount of additional fresh water (less than DLE for the same amount of lithium carbonate), but the brine in both Argentina or Chile is saltier than ocean water and unusable for agriculture. The evaporation process is not problematic.
