Good morning from Germany!
As far as prices from China are concerned, it is important to keep in mind that the change in tax benefits when buying an EV in the U.S. is becoming more and more dependent on the origin of materials and inputs. Since China does not have any free trade agreement with the USA, their lithium will probably lose more and more weight for the USA.
At the latest when the customer finds out that he/she will not get a tax advantage or subsidy for his/her EV because the battery material or parts of the battery do not come from a country with a free trade agreement with the USA, he/she will consider whether to buy an EV or prefer another one.
If I recall correctly, by 2027, 80% of materials and inputs must come from countries that maintain a free trade agreement with the U.S. in order to purchase the vehicles with a subsidy or tax benefit
