In broad terms, for me, strategically, yes to Livent but absolutely no to Pall Graves and the 54:46 share split, particularly with a 50:50 board split, is a crock. By the sounds of it Peter Coleman is well lubed up for some Goldman Sachs' luvin' so maybe we might need some help from the local analyst community and an actually independent Independent Expert. Hopefully a couple of the local institutions also have a quiet word in Coleman's ear as I am not sure they would be overly pleased with what appears to be a sell-out by him. Remember, Allkem shareholders have to approve this deal.

What would really help our cause in the next several months would be first production at Olaroz 2, provincial permitting at James Bay, resource increase at James Bay, declared first production at Naraha and resource increase at Mt Cattlin. I think just at the moment Allkem is vulnerable - going back to my analogy of not having enough trophies in the trophy cabinet - but that should change in the next month or so (as long as Coleman and Graves do not force the Allkem team to run dead).

Nice post triage, thank you. My thoughts are similar in that I very much support the merge due to its many upsides and natural synergy between the companies. However, I am also concerned about the split, because I think it that AKE should receive at least 60%. Do you or others know how successful can be the attempts to change the proposed split and what are the best strategies to accomplish this?

BTW I don’t know enough about Mr. Graves to have an opinion.
