yeah I seen that on the news also and initially thought, so it was 6 years, but then the deep thinker in me started to ponder.

Are the media outlets getting their stock data from a centralised feed that interprets announcements. No doubt AI just spitting out spew?

an then I thought some more… LKE 4th most shorted stock on the asx. If I had a huge open position and could influence the feed that all of the media world rely on for fast facts/data then I could damage the stock fast. Even if it is redacted and corrected in a days time the damage would be done, right? Just bend the truth enough on the grey areas that by not providing context will create that big flashy head line… so 6 year delay or a 3 year ramp up period with a 6 months delay. It’s all about the detail.

As you can see, I have lost all faith in the asx running a fair and equitable market. I lost that faith long ago.

As Warwick said, god help our children. Bloody oath.
