an then I thought some more… LKE 4th most shorted stock on the asx. If I had a huge open position and could influence the feed that all of the media world rely on for fast facts/data then I could damage the stock fast. Even if it is redacted and corrected in a days time the damage would be done, right? Just bend the truth enough on the grey areas that by not providing context will create that big flashy head line… so 6 year delay or a 3 year ramp up period with a 6 months delay. It’s all about the detail.

As you can see, I have lost all faith in the asx running a fair and equitable market. I lost that faith long ago.

Whether malicious or accidental it's sadly pretty normal for media to reprint something that was run by another outlet without double checking anything in it. Maybe it could have been malicious by the first crowd to print it, but i'd bet money that all the other news outlets were just being lazy.
