I agree with your response. Results don't lie and you can see that AKE has outperformed Livent over the last 5 years. Graves is a smooth talker but what he says is not that profound. He does present it in a eloquent way that investors and analysts just eat up. As opposed to Elon who struggles to communicate clearly what he means but the underlying content is deeply thought through.
As long as Graves doesn't mess with the engine room in AKE then we should be fine. Having direct access to the largest market in the world, being one of their own, and being under the same jurisdiction will have enormous benefit as opposed to a backwater ozzy firm. Unfortunate but true. At a time the US are mandating local manufacturing and supply chains, it means deals can get done and even get preferential treatment at times.
