Just going on Ford's announcement the deal is not quite the US$5b reported elsewhere. They say the project will require a C$1.2b investment by the three parties.

Still a positive development of course and clearly will involve feedstock from Livent. That Trudeau did not get a mention in Ford's media release suggests he was a no-show. Shame the Quebec premier did not take the opportunity to announce that his government had approved Allkem's James Bay.
