JL went even further than that when he said LiHO really only made sense for Greenbushes.
Presumably that is because of it’s higher than normal grade, anything else would be better utilised for LiCO.
He backed this up by pointing out that LiCO was no longer priced below that of LiHO.
He also highlighted how LFP batteries were making inroads into the NCM battery market because of Tesla, BYD, etc.
Nickel and cobalt being the main drawback for NCM.
What this means for product from James Bay in the future, only time will tell.
