What is the cost of Li in a "standard" EV battery pack? What is the price trajectory of an EV battery pack? What cost-reducing factors for EVs are offsetting increasing Li prices? Now, what is the the cost of many popular "extras" that are commonly added to many vehicles...? e.g. sunroof premium sound fancy paint fancy wheels etc etc.
Many people who are buying non luxury cars add such items. Let's examine those costs and then revisit the idea that high Li prices will push (or limit) EV demand into the "luxury" segment..?
