Over the years I have received a fairly good and consistent dividend payment on my CSR shares. You can go to the CSR website (under investor relations) to see the dividend paying history (ie cents per share) of this company.
For me, the attractiveness of these shares in the short-term will depend on the nature and amount of any capital and/or special dividend return from the trade sale of Sucrogen, provided there are no regulatory blocks to the deal. At this stage, I am going to wait and see what management decides to do with the proceeds before I review the holding further.
