15 to 20 years ago, when a company wanted to raise funds, they offered "one for five held at an issue price of $3-00"..These days they say you can subscribe to a new issue at a price to be determined by "Major investors book build less 2%; the number allocated at the discretion of the company"; in other words, you can bung in some cash and see what happens. This is very unfair to investors, but to whom do we complain..? and with the government we have (And very likely will get) who, in any position of authority, cares..?
