In the prospectus it said you could only apply for $15000 in total. As you have both accounts in yours and your wife's name I am guessing that you were treated effectively as one person therefore that's why you only got a total of $15000. They also alluded to your type of scenario as the reason why the allocation didn't quite make the full $7million. If your trading account was in your name and super in your wife's then you would have received the full $30k.
