As far as FMG is concerned. I disagree with your comment about misleading.

The fact is that both are in fact vastly different & cant be compared in terms of their projects. Where we can compare them is in the type of run they have had & the potential that exists for MAK to keep emulating FMG's run.

While you are correct regarding FMG's sales contracts, you need to remember that prior to that FMG was trading around the 40-50 cents mark, yet the market alread KNEW about the billions of tonnes of iron ore but ignored it ... the Chinese deals were the catalyst for the re-rating at 50 & then 80 cents ... I was there at the time!

With MAK the rerating started with the Jan 9 announcement, and has continued on the back of MAK's uniqueness and the massive potential in a tight market and booming sector.

Different details to FMG ... but the "story" is the same imo

As to whether you should buy or not ... your call
