Here's another reason why you shouldn't believe a word management says. This is what they wrote in the same Blue Diamond report in June 2015:
Pricing will firm in the short-term. Longer term, prices will remain at or above current levels unless the 2015 crop exceeds expectations and late fall / winter precipitation begins to break the drought.
Since that time, the 2015 crop was at the lower end of expectations and the drought has not broken but the almond price has halved.
SHV included the same quote in an ASX announcement in June last year but have obviously decided not to risk misleading the market again this time.
