The more I look into this management team, the more amusing it becomes. Here are a couple of great quotes from the MD in a July 2015 ASX announcement (the month in which the almond price peaked and has since halved):
It is clear that global consumers continue to demand more almonds, at current prices.
Paul Thompson said "With global demand intact and strong, in particular the strength of the Asian markets, and global supply constrained, we see pricing remaining stable for the foreseeable future."
That was only 10 months ago. Absolutely clueless.
