Herbalist, thanks for the link - interesting article. Just shows that it potentially will take years of rain above average to replenish the reservoirs, as the dry soil soaks up most of the recent rain. Will be interesting to see if the melting snow pack to some extend as well will be absorbed by the dry soil prior to reaching the reservoirs.
