What is the S&P/TSX Global Mining Index?
It’s a market capitalization-weighted index that includes global mining companies listed on the TSX.Inclusion criteria involve:
Adequate market cap
Liquidity (minimum trading volume)
Sector classification as a mining company
Great move for more visibilty and should result in price uplift as institutions that track the index buy to balance their portfolios.
Can't fault the moves they are making to boost share price.
Imagine what might happen if they ever have the same level of success in actually producing something...
