The Defense Industrial Base Consortium (DIBC) is a U.S. Dept of Defense initiative aimed at strengthening the defense industrial base by fostering collaboration between government, industry, and academia. The consortium minimizes barriers for small and non-traditional businesses to engage with the government and access funding opportunities. Membership is open to U.S. organizations as well as partners from Australia, Canada, and the UK. The DIBC focuses on critical sectors such as microelectronics, energy storage, strategic materials, and workforce development.
