WP is a big pharma recruit as is the chairman and CFO with the incumbent mindset. AHZ is a medtech minnow struggling to break-even yet there is not one successful start-up experienced director to provide early stage guidance.
WP is also a salesman. A big pharma salesman, lest we not forget. Follow the dollars not the spin.
The dollars tell me: immunotherapy division expensively disappointing, ADAPT growth at a glacial pace, TAVR way-off, infusions hostage to the state health system. The same health systems with shocking lead times for elective (non-life threatening) surgery, understaffed and always hungry for funding.
Investors are entitled to be as sanguine as they like. However, the shareprice says much the same: show me the money. Better be a good quarterly.
