One thing Gold coast have got going for them is the liberals /national party is back in office. It seems when labour are in power the goldie goes to crap,and it fires up when the other crowd are in. Thank god people in QLD have seen the light. The other is of course the commonwealth games,In the property section on the week end you can buy 2 bedroom highrise units with ocean views for 280k. Would have been 450k not that long ago. The downside is the cost of body corp and sundries.Most are up around 200pw now.Add a mortgage rates ect,cheaper to rent in a falling market.
