Your comments totally validate what some of us have been indicating for quite some time now. I wish you and everyone else to consider the follow and smile.
For those who missed it, today STO in taking on Petronas (3rd largest LNG producer worldwide) as a partner in Gladstone. Petronas have effectively now valued CSM in the vicinity of $5 a Gj, in taking one third of STO 2P gas reserves for $2.5 Billion.
That eclipses BG's original offer of $2.62 a Gj for origin's 2P reserves. An offer offer that has since been inflated.
According to 4 broker reports on SHG, they value us based on a price of only $0.99 a Gj (US$6 per BTU), for our un-contracted gas.
Considering a price of say $4 a Gj, with 469 Pj of 2p reserve (Lacerta only!) that would give SHG a value $2.070 Billion. That equates to a SP of $6.07. The analysts are currently valuing the rest of the company at 53 cents, which would give us a value of $6.70 right now. Before any upgrade comes. He He :) :)
The deal between STO and Petronas give CSM a price of US$900 per tonne. This is more than 4 times greater than SHG's current valuation on the Gladstone Project of US$200 per tonne. IT JUST GETS BETTER DOESN'T IT!
STO deal puts a price on CSM at US$16.60 per BTU (US$7.45per Gj) at a world oil price of $100 - $110 US per barrel. Current oil price US$130 per barrel, which is equivalent to US$26 per BTU (our value calculated on US$6 per BTU)
HOW DOES EVERYONE LIKE THOSE APPLES??
How long do you think it will be before some astute CSM company will snap us up. Even if they pay only $3 a Gj, they can still sell the gas on at a %50 profit.
