No Davo I do not think that I am missing a few important points.

Yes I acknowledge that production from Jumonville #1 has reduced but I have made comment to that effect in my previous posts.
In fact I have noted that it is currently down to about 200 bopd. But that is partly the result of increased water inflow but it is very much the effect of J #2 tapping into the Miogyp also not too far away.

At the moment it appears to be a balancing act of getting reasonable production from J #1 and holding production at J #2 so that it doesn't drastically impinge upon what can be squeezed out of J #1.

Now they (GGP and partners) are presently trying to balance that production and manage it. If they do that successfully then it is possible that production will be maintained at present levels for some weeks to months albeit with some reduction over time.

They are obviously expecting to be able to keep J #1 running well enough for some weeks/months before they contemplate attempting to test out the Camerina at J #1.

I think they want to put off that decision as long as possible. So they will try and keep the production flow close to the present level as long as possible. The Camerina, while it has shown some hopeful signs is not a sure bet till they actually try it. It may produce but slowly judging from the comments made.
