Hi TP;
Great summary re Uvs. The Mongolian winter is indeed very cold and newsflow will dry up as a result.
In the last little drilling update, management highlighted 'bedded potash' and 'alluvial gold/pgm'. Lets see what the drilling throws up for both. The potash consultants (ERCOPLAN) are the same mob who helped STB so the team is there to interpret the geology and give the more focussed drill campaign next year the best chance of success. But, as you correctly state, this is a story for 2011 and spec investors these days have one eye on the 24-hour news cycle and the other on instant gratification. So buy the dips? Lol.
Your analysis does not take into account the Frere formation I/O drilling; however I cannot believe how long heritage clearance is taking. Maybe best not too pay to much attention until the State government moves on this.
The extra rail link from the emerging Mid-West region to the Frere formation might open up this very remote region which has captured my interest. However this is a long-term project especially due to the glacial pace at which the WA Dep't of Mines moves these days.
Good luck the holders (and the dumpers). Whole spec end will get a few of the later category today no doubt. Damn 24-hr newscycle gives the upper hand to the traders these days. I mean Ireland has been poor since the Dark Ages and now it will be poor again.
