Now Mr T4P, why do you always posit that the market 'doesn't realise the gravity of it all' when you don't get the big spike up yet you can always attribute the fall to the sophisticated investor being ahead of the pack? How can you have it both ways? I suggest you just take it on the chin, rather than try and weave out of the way of reality all the time. Market reactions to news of any sort take about 2.1 milliseconds, in every case that I've seen.
