The worst experience is that I had a weekly conversation about a particular company with a bloke who sounded keen and said that he bought shares etc.

I later got hold of a share registry and his name was not on there. I asked him later if he still was holding and he said he was.

He was full of it.

I haven't spoken to him about shares since but feel stupid over the amount of conversations that we had and he clearly wasn't interested.
