During the tech bull of early 2000 we held a hotcopper dinner on the gold coast. 7/4/2000. I just posted an open invitation to any members on the coast (do the same for your area) 30 people came including Al Miller (from daytrader.com) Mike Vallender (CEO of Hotcopper at the time)tried to make it but was a late cancellation. Everyone had a great night. It was a very diverse crowd and a core of us kept in touch for BBQ's etc even after the "wreck". These Hotcopper dinners and drinks nights started in Sydney and the idea caught on around the country. It would be good to see them start up again.
