I do not know a lot about people getting NDIS but I had a neighbour on the scheme
For 5 years I watch her being picked up twice a day by support workers
7 days a week
Her apartment was cleaned weekly as well
I spoke to her often
She had some medical conditions but not disabled in my opinion
Live in partner also on disability support because of anxiety
He had a car and was physically fit
Drunk most days ha ha
I asked her what do the providers do to support you
Sometimes she just joined then as they did their chores like shopping etc
To the park sometimes or pottery classes
She had a dog
The dog was taken on the trips also
Her partner just stayed home
I just shook my head in disbelief at what the costs might be to treat her so special
Maybe 80k or more a year to provide assistance her partner could have done
NDIS is out of control from my perspective
I may be wrong
