'
'Yeah yeah Scotty it's all John Howard fault''
well, to a very large degree - it is John Howard's fault.
It really was Howard who entrenched the cut cut cut, don't spend race in Aussie politics
AND - he said it. He said
'we thought we'd be alright if we just watched the spending'
'we were wrong'
from there - oppositions went the blow for blow, fight fire with fire promises ----
'we can cut more than you can cut' -
and that began the race to the bottom for Australia - Australia blindly going down a path of which no nation has ever been built - cut cut cut, don't spend, don't invest -
never has a country been turned into a nation by such behaviour.
Dutton's promise of late - has indeed, changed that idea - even if his big nuke idea is total bullshit ---------- Dutton has put forward a big spend agenda - big big big spend.
Tis to be seen what Labor come out with in promises for the next election - we don't have to believe them, we're crazy if we believe any promises in an election campaign -
BUT - The liberals etc 'cannot' come at Labor with the attack of 'big spend' - when Dutton has his enormous spending ideas on the table
indeed - it may well change the whole game from cut cut cut - to invest invest invest.
We just have to wait. And of course, our point in history is now that it's too late for many things - and we already have large debt compared to what we had years ago - but, still small by comparison to many other nations.
Tis to be seen what gets a run in years to come - but, if the old cut cut cut of John Howard has gone to the grave - that will be a very good thing --------- but, of course - wise investment is needed - looking after the people is needed ------
no spending on housing, feeding people, keeping people healthy and educating people is bad --
what is deadly is when you don't do it ----------- as we see.
Does anyone need to think hard about why this woman was living in a bus? ------
more than likely because of decades of poor government at all levels ----
this is what you get from a cut cut cut race - death, in substandard living conditions.
