I don't know or care what happens with Anna's old seat but I don't think many would be impressed with the new government at this time. So far all they have done is put their own people into plumb public service jobs making them no better or worse than any other party. After all the celebrations about defeating Labor are over people will expect to see the new government actually doing something apart from feathering it's own nest.
The Liberal governments in NSW, VIC and WA are breaking election promises and running up increasing deficits at a great rate which is already causing people to lose faith in them so expect this new Qld government to be under the spotlight as to whether it can do any better. Dave R.
