    Just as I thought. Where were the assumptions of changing the 5% mix? You can't do it with existing companies.
    Oh yes lets take a well thought out theoretical example of a NEW company etc etc.
    Why didn't you go the whole hog. 1 Share and the rest convertible. They would give you a better return.

    Just like the sort of nonsense that one of the big four put out with the mining tax. Take a theoretical case and the mining company would pay 75% tax.

    But even in you example, where is the leakage? If you leave the system as is, and the share holders are SMSF in pension mode, then the whole of the tax collected from the company is given back to the SMSF. Therefore there is zero collected. Abolish it and by your own admission, the government is actually collecting company tax!
