So the lefties get together and come up with one new idea the whole time that this pandemic has been going – blockade streets in Morrisons electorate because of one to two week Centrelink delays, and divert as many police resources as possible. At a time when the police are so overstretched that they can’t even perform basic operational duties.
Nothing the ALP has formally suggested is new. It has all previously been under consideration by governments across the world and also by the Australian Federal Government since the second half of January. It is just a question of when is the right time for each of the predetermined measures to kick in.
Federal government planning has been going on for months now. In the second half of January all federal government departments were taking stock of who was in the army reserve, so they would know what resources would be unavailable as the pandemic spread.
Over the next week or two the country looks like it is heading to stage 3 restrictions of its own accord, businesses that rely on foot traffic are closing. That’s the time for broader income support measures, and the federal government is finalising new measures now.
Albanese actually thinks that people would surely believe that any old idea is his idea. What a total loon. Doubtful he could even convince the true deniers, ABC viewers, that he has any ideas at all.
Morrison delivers a masterclass everyday on how to communicate to the Australia people, and on how to handle questions from the press.
Albanese is the great uncommunicator. Albanese finishes his press conferences, “any questions” and then a split second later he says “No, ok” and walks off as fast as he can.
When Hollywood resumes production we could get Rudd and Albanese to star in a ‘new’ movie – Dud and Duder.
